Please Note: This year’s focus will be our interaction with industry, our abilities and what their needs are within the area of regenerative medicine. There will be outside personnel viewing your work. No confidentiality agreements will be in place, please be sure to configure your information accordingly.

Each participating faculty/resident/fellow/post-doc/student is requested to have a poster. If more than one poster for the “group” is desired, we can accommodate.

Please Note that this year’s retreat is two full days of activities and events. Meeting Registration will be Sunday evening between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM or Monday morning between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

You MUST make your hotel registration directly with Nemacolin Woodlands for the nights of March 5th and 6th. (Rooms will only be held until February 10th)

Accommodations for faculty and McGowan Institute guests are in the Lodge at Nemacolin Woodlands. When you call in your room reservation, identify your group as the McGowan Institute Retreat to get the group rate of $119.00 (plus tax) for both evenings. If for your convenience, you wish to stay at Nemacolin Woodlands on Saturday evening at your personal expense, the rate will be $265.00 (plus tax).

The McGowan Institute will reimburse you for your room registration expenses after your participation in the Retreat, but it is your responsibility to confirm your room reservation and guarantee it with your credit card. Saturday evening stay will be YOUR responsibility, if you elect to arrive early.

Accommodations for Fellows/ Residents/ Post-Doc, Graduate students and Staff are in the Townhouses at a rate of $49.67 per night per person (plus tax). You must guarantee your room with a credit card. You MUST make your hotel registration through Katy Wharton at The McGowan Institute by calling (412) 235-5112 or by e-mail at whartonkm@upmc.edu.

Please identify those who you prefer to share the townhouse with (each unit has 3 bedrooms) or you will be assigned to a townhouse.You MUST provide a credit card number to guarantee your reservation.

Note: please advise Katy Wharton if overnight accommodations are not needed.

The McGowan Institute will reimburse you for your room expenses after your participation in the Retreat.
